1. Prior to completing the Online Application: Families contact the Admissions Office to schedule a campus tour. Tours run from early September through December and conclude at the start of winter break. A campus tour is not required to submit an application. 2. Phase 1: Submit Online Application / Wait Pool Form: Submit the online application through the eHillel portal with a non-refundable $250 application fee. If the grade level is at capacity, the system redirects to the wait pool form, which has no fee. First-round admissions decisions are announced by mid-February for candidates who complete the application process by January 14, 2026. After January 14, applications are reviewed and admissions decisions are provided on a rolling basis, space permitting. The school reserves the right to close applications and/or wait pool forms during the admissions season; completion of an application does not guarantee space nor acceptance. 3. Phase 2: Complete Student Checklist through eHillel Portal: Phase 2 applies to candidates who completed an application; after submission, applicants receive a checklist through the eHillel portal with the documents and requirements needed for consideration. Wait pool entrants do not receive a checklist, and documents are not accepted until space becomes available. Required documents include: birth certificate or passport; current and previous year report cards and score reports; a Parent Questionnaire; a Student Questionnaire for Grades 6-10; the Passion in Progress project for Grades 6-10; a MAP Exam on campus for Grades 6-10; a Permission for Release of Student Records; and an immunization form (Blue HRS

DH680) and health form (Yellow HRS 3040). 4. Phase 3: Evaluations & Interviews: Upon receipt of all Phase 2 documents, the team invites qualifying applicants in PK3–Grade 10 to schedule a grade-appropriate evaluation/screening/interview and a new family meeting with Rabbinic Director(s). All screenings and evaluations are conducted in person on campus. 5. Phase 4: Admissions Decisions & Enrollment: First-round admissions decisions are announced by mid-February for candidates who complete by January 14, 2026. Accepted candidates have one week to enroll through Scheck Hillel's Continuous Enrollment Contract. 6. Phase 5: Welcome Home! Post Enrollment Items: Newly enrolled students entering Grades 6–10 will complete placement exams for class placement; exams are scheduled in the Spring. Financial aid is available to all students based on demonstrated need, determined after evaluating the financial aid application; the aid process is separate from admissions and is not guaranteed to cover 100% of tuition and is awarded for one year. Financial aid applications for 2026-2027 open December 9, 2025, with a January 14, 2026 deadline for all required materials; awards are announced in April 2026. The school participates in Step Up for Students (state private school scholarship) and requires families from public schools to apply for Jewish Education Scholarships as applicable. The Kulanu Scholarship Fund provides financial aid to Scheck Hillel students with demonstrated need, created in 2011; it has provided over 2,000 scholarships and, each year, supports nearly 20 percent of students through financial aid; all financial aid applicants are reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee. Financial aid uses Blackbaud Financial Aid Management for processing; supporting documents include tax returns, W-2s, credit reports, bank statements, and other items as specified.
