Application fees
- There is no application fee to apply for admission. Enrollment begins with a Family Interest Form and registration is completed online; admissions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis with lottery procedures when necessary.
Tuition (by year group / term)
- K–8: There is no tuition. Global Village Academy — Parker (Global Village Academy Douglas County) is a tuition-free public charter school for all grade levels it serves (K–8).
- Annual flat school/technology fee (applies to all year groups K–8): The school charges a Technology Fee of USD 165 per student per school year. This is an annual charge that covers online curricular/supplemental resources and consumable materials used in lessons and assessments. There is no separate per-term tuition; this fee is assessed annually per student.
Before‑ and After‑school care (optional paid programs)
- Provider and billing model: Before- and after-school care is provided through an external extended‑learning vendor (Innovation Learning). Billing is monthly and a valid payment method (credit or debit card) must be on file. Payment is deducted on the 1st of each month. A registration fee applies. Refunds are subject to the vendor's processing policy (see refund row).
- Registration fees: USD 59 per child or USD 99 per family.
- Monthly rates — Before School (per month, by days attended):
- 1 day/week: USD 55 per month.
- 2 days/week: USD 92 per month.
- 3 days/week: USD 129 per month.
- 4 days/week: USD 164 per month.
- 5 days/week: USD 170 per month.
- Monthly rates — After School (per month, by days attended):
- 1 day/week: USD 95 per month.
- 2 days/week: USD 159 per month.
- 3 days/week: USD 225 per month.
- 4 days/week: USD 269 per month.
- 5 days/week: USD 295 per month.
- Additional rates (before/after care): Drop-in: USD 16 (AM) and USD 25 (PM); Early Dismissal: USD 49; Vacation Day rate: USD 65. Sibling, military, and first-responder discounts are available per the vendor. Payments are taken monthly; CCAP is accepted where eligible. Refunds for vendor services incur a 10% processing fee for any refunds.
ENCORE (after‑school enrichment) — optional paid classes
- ENCORE is the school's after‑school enrichment program. Classes meet immediately after school and are scheduled by quarter. Registration and payment are required online and must be received in full before a student may attend. If a class is cancelled by the school for low enrollment, the school will process a refund or offer an alternative. If a family's registration is dropped, the ENCORE manager will contact the family to process a refund or reassign the student. Deadlines and class dates are published each quarter. Fees per individual ENCORE class are charged at registration and vary by class/quarter.
School lunch and cafeteria charges
- The school participates in the Healthy School Meals for All program: enrolled students receive school lunch at no cost. Households are still asked to submit household income information for funding and program eligibility considerations.
- A la carte and extras: second entrées and snack/a la carte items are paid by the student and range approximately from USD 0.50 to USD 2.50 per item; a second entrée is listed at about USD 2.25 (pricing may vary). Parents may pay for extras online or by check; an online portal (MySchoolBucks) is available for credit-card payments and account management.
Uniforms and school supplies (other expected costs)
- Uniforms: The school enforces a uniform dress code and sells approved uniform items and spirit wear through approved vendors (school uniform vendor links and Lands' End / spirit‑wear storefronts are listed by the school). Assistance is available for families in need and the school runs uniform sales; return and exchange policies are handled by the uniform vendors.
- School supplies / supply kits: The school promotes an EduKit program and publishes school-supplies lists by grade; costs for supply kits vary by grade and vendor and are billed/paid separately during the supply‑ordering period.
Boarding / residential fees
- Not applicable. Global Village Academy — Parker is a day, K–8 public charter school and does not offer boarding or residential student housing.
Billing schedule and payment terms (summary)
