Application fees
- Creating an online admissions account and profile does not require a payment; there is no application fee required at the account-creation stage.
Tuition (by year group and academic year)
- Annual tuition for the 2026–2027 academic year is USD 20,500 for all students (grades 9–12).
- Mandatory additional student charges for 2026–27: USD 350 activity fee and USD 450 e-textbook fee (these are charged per student in addition to the annual tuition).
- Senior-specific fee: a senior graduation fee (covering the yearbook, cap and gown, and three tickets to the graduation dinner) is included in the senior year tuition.
Per-term / installment detail
- Tuition is published as an annual amount (USD 20,500). Families may spread that annual amount across installments using the school's tuition plans; the per-term or per-installment amount depends on the payment plan chosen through the school's tuition-management provider. Exact per-installment amounts are therefore determined by the selected plan and number of payments.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- The school offers multiple tuition payment plans through an external tuition-management service; families can receive monthly invoices or set up recurring automatic payments from a bank account or by credit card. Accepted card types include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
- AP, IB and some external exam or course fees (for example, AP and IB exam fees and University of Connecticut ECE per-credit charges) are billed to the student's tuition account by the Business Office (these exam/credit charges are typically billed after October 1).
- Account-review and delinquency rules: returning students with remaining balances from the prior year may not be allowed to return; accounts are reviewed in early August and must be compliant with the selected payment program. Seniors must have all financial obligations paid in full by the end of February or they may be barred from final exams and graduation activities. Transcripts and academic records are withheld until all amounts due are paid in full.
Boarding fees
- The school operates as a day school; there are no boarding facilities and therefore no boarding fees.
Other costs and typical additional charges
- Activity fee: USD 350 per student (mandatory for 2026–27).
- E-textbook fee: USD 450 per student (mandatory for 2026–27).
- AP/IB exam fees: charged to the student account after October 1 when applicable; fees vary by exam.
- University of Connecticut ECE (Early College Experience) course fees: charged per credit by UConn and billed to the student account when applicable.
- Graduation-related senior fee: included in senior tuition (covers yearbook, cap/gown, and three dinner tickets).
- Uniforms and appearance-code items: students are required to wear approved uniform pieces; uniforms and specific appearance-code items must be purchased from the school's approved vendors (uniforms and vendor availability vary by class year). Families should budget separately for uniform purchases.
Refunds and withdrawal policy
- Withdrawal and refund rules: a student who withdraws after June 30 is liable for sixty-five percent (65%) of the full year's tuition. There is no tuition refund if the withdrawal occurs after October 31. All balances due must be paid at the time of withdrawal; records and transcripts will not be released until accounts are paid in full.
Fee payment options
- Payment may be made via the school's tuition-management service which supports recurring automatic bank-account (ACH) payments and credit-card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express). Families select a payment plan (number and timing of installments) through that service; the provider issues invoices and payment reminders. The Business Office can arrange individualized payment schedules for exceptional circumstances if agreed in writing.
Summary of coverage and outstanding detail found
- Published, fixed amounts provided here: annual tuition (USD 20,500), activity fee (USD 350), and e-textbook fee (USD 450) for the 2026–2027 academic year; senior graduation fee is included in senior tuition. Information on per-installment amounts is determined by the payment plan a family selects through the school's tuition-management provider; the school publishes the annual and mandatory fees but uses an external payment service to set installment schedules. AP/IB/exam and some college-credit fees are billed to the student account as noted above, and uniform costs are handled through approved vendors and therefore vary by purchase.
