Academic and Intellectual

Agora Andorra International School is a private international school in L'Aldosa, Andorra, with a multilingual educational programme from Nursery to Baccalaureate. It provides an individualized, international education for students from age 2 to university. The school is authorised to teach the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) and the Primary Years Programme (PYP). The educational project is defined by five distinctive elements: the International Baccalaureate as a model for the future, multilingualism, STEAM, sport and shaping global citizens who can shape the world.

Arts and Creative

Music and the expressive arts are central to the STEAM approach. The school is an examination centre for Trinity Music Exams. Music classes begin in Early Years (ages 3-5) and continue through Primary, where pupils learn the violin; piano is taught in Early Years, and ukulele and percussion are used in Music classes. Art and creativity are promoted as part of the all-round education, encouraging expression, collaboration and imaginative thought.

Cultural and Language

Language immersion enables fluency in English and official languages, with French or German also offered. Lessons are delivered in Spanish, English and French at every stage, and pupils also take classes in Catalan, Andorra's official language. Pupils can obtain Cambridge English qualifications, and can sit Alliance Française exams in French and the DELE Spanish examination. There are overseas exchanges and trips to England, Ireland, France and the USA; Primary 6 has a one-week exchange with the UK; there is a term, semester or full year at Stonar School.

Social and Hobbies

Extracurricular activities are available for students and families. A Summer Camp is offered.

Community and Service

Students participate in community and charitable projects through Globeducate and local initiatives. They support national charities Cáritas and Action Against Hunger, and participate in Jove Voluntariat Lector. Globeducate's network organises international events each year that involve sporting, academic, musical and leadership activities.

Leadership and Professional

Public speaking programmes are part of the STEAM project. Globeducate events include leadership and debating forums. The UN simulation allows students to represent delegates from different countries and discuss global issues in English.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The school has extensive sports facilities including a covered sports centre, an indoor swimming pool and outdoor courts, with a ski programme adjacent to the school site. Swimming forms part of the Early Years and Primary curriculum; skiing lessons are taught in English by qualified instructors, and a High-performance Sport Programme offers tailored training. Football, tennis and other activities such as kung-fu and chess are available, and the canteen provides a healthy, sustainable menu developed with nutritionists. The Mental Health and Educational Psychology Department offers guidance and support to pupils and families.
