In 1999, Gaspar Saludes founded Col·legi del Pirineu, the first private school in Andorra. The quality and innovation of the school's curriculum led to it becoming one of the Principality's top schools. In 2017, Col·legi del Pirineu joined Globeducate and became Agora Andorra International School, continuing to promote academic excellence, values and the all-round development of students. Agora Andorra International School aims to educate students to become independent, thoughtful, hard-working and responsible young people, with teachers delivering an innovative and structured curriculum in a happy and supportive environment. The school is located in L'Aldosa, La Massana, at 1,250 m above sea level and has more than 7,000 m2 of facilities, including a dining room, swimming pool, dance studio, sports centre and a three-storey boarding house with capacity for 50 students.
Families, Pupils, Teachers and Alumni form Agora Andorra International School's community. The family is a fundamental pillar in the learning process, and a constant, joint, triangular relationship between the school, pupils and families is essential to help pupils become well-rounded individuals who can change the world and achieve their goals. English is the flagship language and most subjects are taught in English, with teachers who are native English speakers or bilingual, or who have spent long periods in English-speaking countries. Students grow up in an environment where internationality and multilingualism are emphasised, complemented by sporting activities, music and art.
