Enrollment for 2025-2026 starts March 3, 2025, for children aged 3 to 18. Parents may visit CIS Armenia International School before submitting an application by calling the Admissions Office to schedule a visit. To apply, fill in the online application form and submit it to the Admissions Office electronically. All applicants undergo assessments as part of the admissions process, with separate guidelines for Primary and Secondary entry. Early Years Foundation Stage (FS1-FS2): filled in application form; play-based interview with the child and Q&A with parents; copies of the applicant's passport and its Armenian translation; copies of the applicant's parent/legal guardian's passport and its Armenian translation. Primary School Years 1 and 2: filled in application form; basic Maths and English assessment; interview with the school psychologist; previous school reports (if applicable); copies of passports with Armenian translations; meeting with the Head of Primary School. Primary School Years 3-6: filled in application form; interview with the school psychologist; Cambridge test in Maths, English or English as a Second Language; interview with Head of Primary; previous school reports. Secondary School (Year 7-Year 13): filled in application form; interview with the school psychologist; diagnostic tests in English and Maths; previous school reports; passport for the applicant and its Armenian translation; passport of the applicant's parent/legal guardian and its Armenian translation; meeting with the Head of the Secondary School. The assessments determine the support or extension program needed and placement. Acceptance occurs when a place is available: sign the school contract and pay tuition. Most students join in September, but admissions may occur throughout the year if places are available. Official documents required include: passport of the applicant; passport of one of the applicant's parents; two passport-size photographs of the applicant; Medical and Health Record for the child (form N26 from a medical center); academic transcripts and attendance records from previous schools (if applicable). Age placement follows a Cambridge Curriculum 13-year system; age is determined as of August 31 of the Admissions Year, with Foundation Stage 1 for ages 3-4, Foundation Stage 2 for ages 4-5, Year 1 for ages 5-6, Year 2 for ages 6-7, Year 3 for ages 7-8, Year 4 for ages 8-9, Year 5 for ages 9-10, Year 6 for ages 10-11, Year 7 for ages 11-12, Year 8 for ages 12-13, Year 9 for ages 13-14, Year 10 for ages 14-15, Year 11 for ages 15-16, Year 12 for ages 16-17, Year 13 for ages 17-18.
CIS Armenia International School is an international Cambridge-accredited institution in Yerevan for students aged 3 to 18. The school offers a British-style curriculum that blends the British National, Cambridge International and Armenian National curricula, guiding learners from Early Years Preschool through Primary to Secondary, with Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS and A Levels in the senior years, alongside the Australian Curriculum.
