The school offers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) at King Khalid Coburg Campus for Prep through Year 5 and the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at Melbourne Senior Campus for Years 11–12. The PYP is a transdisciplinary, inquiry-based framework that integrates with the Australian Curriculum. The Diploma Programme develops students as active, compassionate lifelong learners and includes Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS). The IB learner profile emphasizes attributes such as inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk-takers, knowledgeable, principled, caring, open-minded, balanced and reflective.
The Visual Arts program is part of the IB Primary Years Programme and includes Creating and Making, Exploring and Responding. During a Unit of Inquiry, all children engage in the arts with a weekly art lesson. The Calligraphy Programme is offered, enabling students to practise handwriting and calligraphy in Arabic and English and design. The PYP framework supports cross-disciplinary, inquiry-based learning that integrates arts with other areas of study.
Arabic language and Religious studies are taught at all levels. The Additional Language program offers Arabic and Turkish and aims to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing, and intercultural understanding. The language program uses drama, storytelling, songs and cultural activities to promote intercultural awareness. The IB Learner Profile emphasizes communicators and open-mindedness as part of the global perspective.
Clubs are available for students to explore particular interests and to meet up with students with similar interests. Clubs are usually arranged by a staff member for lunch time or after school, and parental permission is normally required for after-school activities. The Eman Forum, Calligraphy, Esports, Debating and Chess are among the clubs offered.
In the IB Diploma Programme, students participate in Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS). The academy aims to develop the whole person—intellectually, spiritually, socially and physically—and to foster engagement with the community.
