The Primary Years Programme (PYP) blends the NSW Curriculum with the International Baccalaureate framework to deliver a well-rounded education anchored in Islamic values. The program focuses on developing the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually—through integrated inquiry units and focused subject learning. Core learning areas include English and Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Technology; History and Geography; Creative Arts; Health & Physical Education; Arabic Language; Islamic Studies; and Library. The PYP is structured around six transdisciplinary themes and includes the PYP Exhibition in Year 6; five Approaches to Learning (ATL) are integrated to support independent, lifelong learning, and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) are offered in later years (Years 7–10 for MYP and Years 11–12 for DP).
Creative Arts – Music, drama, dance, and visual arts are part of the curriculum. Academic enrichment opportunities include robotics, Think Tank, Debating, and Writing Competitions.
Arabic Language is taught as a LOTE subject, and Islamic Studies are integrated into the curriculum. The curriculum is enriched by Islamic teachings and character education, creating an Islamic ethos throughout the learning experience.
A focus on the whole child includes a MERIT wellbeing framework and Islamic character education to support social, emotional, and physical development. The MERIT system fosters celebrating effort, building relationships, restorative practices, independence, and growth mindset.
The Service as Action (SA) program promotes universal citizenship with at least four significant SA activities required each year. Documentation is managed on Managebac, and SA experiences aim to develop international-mindedness through global engagement, multilingualism, intercultural understanding, and ethical reasoning.
Leadership opportunities exist as students prepare to transition from the PYP to the MYP. The IB Diploma Programme fosters leadership, time management, research, presentation, and intercultural understanding, with Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) emphasising service and personal development.
Health & Physical Education (PDHPE) is a core learning area in the Primary Years Programme. A wellbeing framework and Islamic character education support students' social-emotional development, independence, responsibility, and resilience.
