French is taught from Pre-School to Year 6 as part of Cranbrook's Primary Years Programme. In Early Learning, French is included in the curriculum with weekly visits from the Junior School French teachers. In Senior School, Cranbrook offers continuing language options in French, Latin and Mandarin, aligned with the NSW curriculum through the IB Middle Years Programme framework.
Cranbrook School is an Anglican independent day and boarding school for students aged 3 to 18, located in Sydney's Bellevue Hill and Rose Bay. It delivers the International Baccalaureate across the senior years alongside the NSW curriculum, with Years 7–10 taught under the IB Middle Years Programme using a common curriculum and languages chosen from French, Latin and Mandarin. In Years 11–12 students may pursue the IB Diploma Programme or the NSW Higher School Certificate.
