Genazzano offers over 130 co-curricular opportunities spanning Social Justice, the Arts, Music and Sport, with a wide range of clubs and programs. Students earn red, striped and gold Laurel College colour bands for co-curricular commitment, with a transcript issued annually. The program includes Debating, Public Speaking, Duke of Edinburgh, GenTech robotics, GenProductions, Wardell Writers, Language Clubs, Maths Club, and other academic clubs.
Genazzano provides extensive arts opportunities, including Performing Arts with a biennial co-curricular musical, and a broad Visual Arts program that covers Art, Visual Communication Design and Product Design Technology. The Visual Arts program emphasizes exhibitions and student showcases, including an annual Art Exhibition from ELC through Year 12. Art Club, Painting and Drawing, Embroidery Club, and Set Painting are among the arts-focused clubs and activities available. GenProductions also offers backstage roles and the Genazzano/Xavier Musical involves film, theatre and performance work.
Language learning is integrated with co-curricular activities, including Chinese Club and Italian Club, plus language support such as French Assist and Italian Assist. Senior language electives include French, Italian, Latin and Chinese, with Years 7–8 offerings including Italian and Chinese and Year 8–10 access to French from 2026. The college runs an Encounter Day Program for Year 9 to experience language and culture in authentic settings.
There are broad social and hobby clubs such as Art Club, Book Club, Chess Club, Cooking, Gardening Club, Sewing Club, Language Club, and Meditation, providing creative and recreational outlets. Students can contribute to performances and productions through GenProductions and participate in the Genazzano/Xavier Musical. Mindfulness and social activities are supported by Meditation and Walking Club.
Mini Vinnies encourages younger students to engage in social justice projects and community service. The St Vincent de Paul Society leads volunteering and community-focused initiatives within the College. FIRE Carriers promote reconciliation and awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories within the school community.
Duke of Edinburgh provides year‑round leadership, teamwork, resilience and service opportunities. Student Voice is a leadership group that contributes to College spirit and community. Public Speaking and Debating develop communication, critical thinking and teamwork, with DAV Debating as a specific example. GenProductions and the Genazzano/Xavier Musical offer leadership and collaboration behind school productions.
GenSTAR is a whole‑school wellbeing program that builds resilience, peak performance and life skills, and runs fortnightly from Early Learning to Year 12. The program covers building positive relationships, bullying prevention, healthy mind and body, safe online practices, and respect for diversity, alongside components such as Performance Psychology and Study Skills. Mindfulness activities such as Meditation and wellbeing initiatives like Walking Club support student wellbeing.
Genazzano FCJ College is a Catholic girls' school in Kew, Victoria, educating students from age 3 to 18 with day and boarding options.
