Model United Nations (Travelling Team) engages students in authentic global issues, debate, diplomacy, and international collaboration. Robotics, Coding & Science offer inquiry-rich challenges that strengthen creativity, engineering, and problem-solving. Activities are provided by external providers and ISWA staff.

Language learning is central to ISWA's multilingual IB curriculum, with French and Spanish offered from Kindergarten through Year 12. In the Diploma Programme, courses include Spanish Ab Initio, Spanish B, and French B. The Global Alliance Exchange Program enables secondary students to participate in exchanges with NIST International School (Bangkok), Windhoek International School (Namibia), and Annie Wright Schools (Washington), broadening intercultural understanding.

Student Council includes representatives from both primary and secondary; the council meets regularly and leads assemblies, fundraising, and school initiatives. National Honor Society provides a secondary-level NHS chapter with activities including volunteering and supporting school projects. The House System offers leadership opportunities, including 16 House Captain roles.

International School of Western Australia (ISWA) is an independent, non‑denominational international school in Perth, established in 2005 with Chevron's support. It is a not‑for‑profit organisation governed by the Australian Association for International Education Incorporated and is an IB World School accredited provider of the Diploma Programme alongside US College Board Advanced Placement. ISWA follows the Western Australian curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 10 and offers the IB Diploma Programme in Years 11–12, with DP subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Environmental Systems & Societies, French Ab Initio and French B, History, English Language and Literature, English Literature, Mathematics Analysis and Mathematics Applications, Physics, Spanish Ab Initio and Spanish B, Theatre Arts and Visual Arts.
