ISWA offers French and Spanish language learning from Kindergarten through Year 12 as part of an IB curriculum. In the Primary Years Programme, French is offered from Kindergarten to Year 6 (three sessions per week) and Spanish from Year 1 to Year 6 (three sessions per week). In the Middle Years Programme (Years 7–10), French and Spanish are integral to the curriculum, with five phase levels from Phase 1 (emergent learner) to Phase 5 (proficient learner). In the Diploma Programme (Years 11–12), language studies include Spanish Ab Initio (SL), Spanish B (HL/SL), and French B (HL/SL).
International School of Western Australia (ISWA) is an independent, non‑denominational international school in Perth, established in 2005 with Chevron's support. It is a not‑for‑profit organisation governed by the Australian Association for International Education Incorporated and is an IB World School accredited provider of the Diploma Programme alongside US College Board Advanced Placement. ISWA follows the Western Australian curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 10 and offers the IB Diploma Programme in Years 11–12, with DP subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Environmental Systems & Societies, French Ab Initio and French B, History, English Language and Literature, English Literature, Mathematics Analysis and Mathematics Applications, Physics, Spanish Ab Initio and Spanish B, Theatre Arts and Visual Arts. AP subjects include Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Economics, and US History. The 2020 relocation to 193 St Brigids Terrace, Doubleview, has created a campus that blends heritage buildings with modern facilities across Kalinda, Heritage and Village, Early Years, Arts Precinct, and a Sports Centre.
