Ambassadors in the Making is a public speaking contest that puts plurilingualism and linguistic and cultural mediation into practice in front of peers and an official jury. Participants from both primary and secondary choose a topic related to current foreign affairs and deliver speeches in French or English, with syntheses in English. The competition proceeds from an inter-LCS round to AEFE regional rounds and finally to the Paris final, reinforcing the MONDE-AEFE network. The program strengthens language skills and cross-cultural communication.
LCS offers a broad range of extracurricular activities that allow students to learn and discover new artistic, scientific, cultural, technological, manual and sports disciplines. The activities are run after school by LCS staff or external providers; primary activities finish at 5:15 pm. The Ambassadors in the Making and the French Schools Abroad Orchestra provide opportunities for collaboration, performance and cross-cultural engagement. An ADN-AEFE Exchange Program allows selected Year 10 students to spend a trimester studying at another AEFE school.
