McKinnon Primary School is a government, co-educational primary school in Ormond, Victoria. It offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) alongside the Victorian Curriculum F-10 from Foundation to Year 6. The campus features a library and specialist programmes in Mandarin (LOTE), Performing Arts, Physical Education and Visual Arts. Students participate in inter-school sports, instrumental music and camps. After-school activities include Drama, Dance and Circus on Tuesdays; Soccer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; Tennis on Tuesday–Thursday; Computer Coding on Wednesdays and Thursdays; Brass & Woodwind on Thursdays. The Digimaker coding program runs after school, developing computational thinking. Parents volunteer to support reading and excursions.
