Tuition fees by year group (international students / fee-paying categories)

- International (fee-liable) students: Tuition and any application or placement fees are charged according to the Department of Education's International Student Program fee schedules and the student's visa category. The department's international program sets which students are fee-liable and the invoicing arrangements; schools administer enrolment and billing through ISP procedures. Exact tuition amounts for international students (per year and by year level) are determined by the department and by the student's category (Standard, Study Abroad, Dependant, Temporary) and therefore vary; homestay, OSHC and other non-tuition charges typically apply in addition to tuition. International tuition and application billing is handled through the department's ISP processes.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Voluntary contributions and extra-curricular user-pays items: Payments are processed and invoiced via the school's Compass parent portal (preferred). Optional activities (camps, excursions, music, extracurricular events) are charged on a user-pays basis and invoiced through Compass at the time the activity is organised. Cash or EFTPOS payments at the school office are accepted but discouraged. Refund requests for parent payments are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the school's discretion and relevant department guidance.

- International student billing: Application and tuition fees for international students are managed under the Department of Education's ISP billing rules; these fees are typically payable in advance according to the department's invoicing schedule (schools and the department will confirm the precise payment timing for each enrolment). Families enrolling as international students should follow the ISP enrolment and payment instructions provided with their international offer.

Boarding / boarding fees

- Boarding is not provided by Milgate Primary School; boarding fees are not applicable. Milgate operates as a local day primary school.

Other costs and fees

- School Uniforms: Compulsory uniform items are listed in the school's Student Dress Code. Uniforms are available for purchase through the official supplier (PSW) and second-hand uniform options are managed periodically by the Parents & Friends Association; families experiencing difficulty meeting uniform costs may access state-supported uniform assistance or school-run support options. Exact uniform prices are set by the supplier and vary by item.

- Camps, excursions, incursions, extracurricular activities and special events: These are offered on a user-pays basis and are invoiced when organised; costs vary by activity and year level (for example, camps for upper primary typically incur a camp fee). These items are separate from the voluntary curriculum contribution.

- Before & After School Care / Outside-hours programs: Before- and after-school-care services operate via external providers (e.g., TeamKids/Kelly Club) and have separate fee schedules, subsidy eligibility (where applicable) and booking/payment arrangements. These fees are set by the outside provider and vary by session and service.

- Stationery, device purchases or BYOD costs: Educational items to own (book packs, stationery, or personal devices where a program requires) are purchased separately by families through the school's nominated supplier or by family choice and are not included in the voluntary curriculum contribution. Delivery and packaging fees from the supplier may apply.

Refund information

- Parent-requested refunds: Refunds are provided at the school's discretion on a case-by-case basis. The school assesses refund requests against whether a cost has already been incurred and relevant departmental guidance and policies; the school's refund policy is administered via the school's Compass/office processes.

Fee payment options

- Compass parent portal (preferred) for online payments and payment of user-pays items.
- Cash or EFTPOS payments at the school office (accepted but discouraged).
- International student tuition and application payments: processed in accordance with Department of Education International Student Program payment procedures; timing and accepted payment methods for international invoices are provided through the ISP enrolment and offer documentation.

If you require any specific numeric breakdowns presented differently (for example term-by-term instalment invoices explicitly set by the school), note that the school issues user-pays invoices (camps, excursions, extracurricular activities) via the Compass portal as those items are scheduled, and voluntary contributions are presented as annual suggested amounts with per-term equivalents shown above.
