MLC School features flexible learning studios and a seamless indoor–outdoor design that supports student achievement. The Senior School Centre, opened in 2019, houses 21 classrooms, eight science laboratories, three seminar rooms, ten meeting/tutorial rooms, eight collaboration spaces, three multipurpose studios, an IT hub, four staff rooms and an outdoor garden terrace, with abundant natural light and energy-efficient features. The Meryl Hilda Wright Food Technology kitchens were upgraded in 2023 to modern facilities for Year 7–12 cooking and culinary learning. The Year 6 Centre offers open-plan, light-filled spaces designed to challenge classroom boundaries. Café 1886 provides a social and learning-friendly space, and the Centre for Design, Art and Technology (DART) houses TAS and Visual Arts teaching; the Aquatic Centre and the Music Centre expand specialist learning. Wearne Library and the Junior School Hub support teaching and learning with print and digital resources.
An Aquatic Centre is a thriving hub of sporting activity for students of all ages. Diving and competitive swimming are popular year-round, with annual swimming carnivals. The Aquatic Centre is heated all year round, continuing a long tradition of swimming at MLC School. It is also open to the community for Learn to Swim classes, squad swimming and more.

The Meryl Hilda Wright Food Technology kitchens were upgraded in 2023 with modern equipment and spaces for Year 7–12 cooking and culinary learning. The Centre for Design, Art and Technology (DART) is a hub for TAS and Visual Arts teaching spaces. The Music Centre provides classrooms, studios for one-to-one lessons, an auditorium for recital work and a multi-keyboard laboratory. The Wearne Library and the Junior School Hub support teaching and learning with print and electronic resources, aligned to NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculums.
Cadets is a Youth Development Program focused on Defence customs, traditions and values, with outdoor experiences such as abseiling, hiking, high ropes and rifle shooting. Clubs and Committees offer additional opportunities across interests. Dance, Drama and Entertainment provide performing arts experiences, including co-curricular dance, theatresports and drama productions, as well as speech and drama programs. Debating and Public Speaking competes in ISDA, FED and Archdale competitions; Year 5 Gala Debating Days are held. The Duke of Edinburgh Award encourages leadership, independence and outdoor challenges. Mind Challenges – Tournament of Minds and da Vinci provide opportunities to think laterally and critically. Round Square is an international association; IDEALS are Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, Service; Round Square Baraza meetings and annual conferences connect students with a global network.
MLC School is an independent girls' school affiliated with the Uniting Church, welcoming students aged 4 to 18. It delivers the Australian Curriculum up to Year 10 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) for Years 11–12, with a parallel Higher School Certificate pathway. The school is non-selective and supports students to pursue the pathway that aligns with their interests. Year 10 subject selection gives students agency over their future. Alumnae go on to study at universities including Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Juilliard and London School of Music.
