Boarding Arrangements

Boarding facilities are high-quality and staffed by qualified teachers.

Uniform Requirement

Uniforms are black and white; Prep girls have dress or shirt-and-skort options. The Uniform Shop is operated by Midford and located in the Concordia Building on Stanmore Road; each campus has its own uniform shop.

Food Options

Wyvern tuckshop provides food and online ordering; allergen advisory statements are available, and emergency lunch options can be provided if a student does not have lunch (e.g., Vegemite, cheese or jam sandwiches) charged to a student account.

House System

The house system comprises 16 vertical houses in the senior school with mentor groups; House Days and Mentor Days foster belonging.

Newington College is an independent Uniting Church school in Sydney, Australia, offering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) alongside the Australian Curriculum. The college operates across two campuses, Stanmore and Lindfield, with a rural Eungai Creek campus for outdoor education and social service immersion. The Stanmore Senior Campus spans about 10 hectares and houses specialist facilities for Music, Drama, Visual Arts, Design and Technology, and Science, with extensive sporting facilities to support cricket, rugby, and football throughout the year. The Early Learning Centre provides three classrooms with qualified educators, and boarding is available across the college. Lindfield hosts the K–6 program.
