Day Structure

Lindfield Prep day starts at 8:30am and finishes at 3:00pm for K–2 and 3:10pm for Years 3–6. The Stanmore Senior Campus offers extended study with a Year 12 Study Centre open daily from 7:30am to 7:00pm and an Extended Study Day program three evenings per week for Years 10–12.

Bus Service

Chartered bus services operate daily to Stanmore from the North Shore, Sutherland Shire, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Northern Beaches; Government bus routes connect Inner West corridors to Stanmore, including Wyvern House and the Senior Campus.

Application and Enrolment Fees

- Registration fee: AUD 350 (non-refundable).
- Enrolment fee: AUD 5,000 (non-refundable).
- Boarding enrolment deposit (for boarding students): AUD 1,000 (refundable on finalisation of enrolment and account settlement).
- International student specific enrolment fees and charges: enrolment (day student) AUD 6,200 of which AUD 1,200 is refundable; enrolment (boarding student) AUD 8,100 of which AUD 3,100 is refundable; Full Fee Paying Overseas Students (annual FFPOS) additional fee AUD 9,000 per year.

Other Annual and Auxiliary Fees

- Newington Challenge (NC): AUD 699 (billed over three instalments).
- Year 11 and 12 Cadets and NC combined charge: AUD 1,071.
- Parents' and Friends' Association (P&F) annual levy: AUD 75 per family (2026 levy billed in May).
- Excursions, camps, incursions, school photos and other incidentals: variable and billed when applicable; K–6 excursion and amenities levy is charged in the first invoice of the school year (amount varies by activities).
- TVET and NSW School of Languages costs: up to AUD 1,000 of net cost may be covered by the College; additional course costs may be charged where applicable.
- Late payment administration fee: AUD 125.
- ELC late pick-up fees: 6:05pm AUD 20; 6:10pm AUD 40; 6:15pm AUD 60; after 6:20pm AUD 80.
- Credit card surcharge on payments: 1% (applies to payments made by credit card).

Sibling Fee Discounts

- When two or more siblings attend at the same time, the following reductions apply to tuition fees only: second sibling 10% reduction; third sibling 15% reduction; fourth and subsequent siblings 25% reduction. (This does not apply where a bursary or scholarship provision applies.)

Billing Schedule and Payment Terms

- Invoicing: fees are invoiced in nine monthly instalments from January to September (inclusive). Invoices are issued on the 7th of each month.
- Payment due date: payment is due on the 16th of each month, or the next business day if the 16th falls on a weekend or public holiday.
- Late payments may incur an administration fee (AUD 125) and unpaid accounts may result in restriction from non-compulsory events or discontinuation of enrolment in accordance with the enrolment agreement.
- The College's preferred method is direct debit from a nominated credit card or bank account. Other accepted payment methods: BPAY, cheque, and credit card (MasterCard, Visa and American Express) via the College's online payment portal. Payments by credit card attract a 1% surcharge. The Finance Department cannot process payments over the phone. The College operates a Westpac-operated online payment portal for fee payments.

Refunds, Credits and Absence Rebate

- Enrolment fees are generally non-refundable except where specific refundable components are stated for international enrolments or ELC enrolment (see enrolment deposit notes).
- In appropriate circumstances, a credit of up to 50% of tuition fees may be applied where a student is absent for four weeks or more at a time because of illness or injury; such requests must be accompanied by a medical certificate and are determined by the College's Chief Financial Officer and Headmaster.
- ELC enrolment fees may be refundable (ELC enrolment fee AUD 2,000 refundable subject to final account settlement and processing). Refund processing times for ELC refunds may take multiple weeks due to external subsidy finalisation processes.
- Withdrawal notice periods and any penalties for withdrawal are set out in the enrolment agreement and apply where a student's enrolment is ended. Late or unpaid fees can lead to suspension of participation in non-compulsory events or discontinuation of enrolment.

Where Fees Appear on Invoices and Timing of Specific Charges

- Annual tuition, auxiliary levies (eg K–6 excursions/amenities), NC charges (billed in instalments where specified), P&F levy (billed in May), boarding charges (for boarders) and any international student specific charges (eg Overseas Student Health Cover / HSC fees when applicable) are shown on fee invoices according to the invoicing cycle. The FFPOS fee (if applicable) is charged on the January invoice. Late payment and miscellaneous charges are included on the invoice when incurred.

Newington College is an independent Uniting Church school in Sydney, Australia, offering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) alongside the Australian Curriculum.
