- Approved laptop / BYOD costs: students must meet the school's BYOD requirements; the approved device cost is treated as a student expense.
- Stationery and subject-specific materials: charged to families according to subject requirements; a stationery list is provided by year level.

Non-tuition accommodation / boarding arrangements (where relevant to international students)

- QACI does not operate an on-campus boarding facility. International students may participate in EQI-arranged homestay accommodation.
- EQI homestay fees (2026): homestay placement fee AUD 476 (one-off, including airport pickup where applicable); homestay weekly fee AUD 382 per week; homestay holding fee AUD 60 per week for periods when a student is away.

Other costs or fees

- Homestay-related: homestay placement and weekly homestay charges as above; Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) if arranged by EQI (indicative starting amounts are shown in EQI materials).
- School excursions, camps, co-curricular activities and some specialist program fees are additional and are not included in tuition; these are billed separately as required.
- Uniforms and personal equipment are payable by families; schools advise on specific uniform costs before arrival or at enrolment.
- Administration fee for certain enrolment variations or service requests (EQI administration fee, 2026): AUD 782 (non-refundable in specified circumstances).

Billing schedule and payment terms

- EQI issues a Statement of Fees (Initial Invoice) and will send invoices before course start and during the course if fees are payable in instalments. You must pay amounts by the dates specified on invoices. EQI will not collect more than 50% of total tuition fees before the student has commenced the course except where the course is less than 25 weeks or the payer elects otherwise.
- Schools (and EQI) may invoice tuition and non-tuition items periodically; EQI and schools commonly manage ongoing invoicing by semester/term or by the instalment schedule shown on the enrolment Statement of Fees.
- If fees are overdue, the provider may issue overdue notices and may cancel enrolment for non-payment; cancellation can affect a student's visa status. Evidence of payments should be retained by families.

Refund information (EQI standard rules applicable to international enrolments)

- Visa refusal: refund of tuition and non-tuition fees paid, minus the lesser of AUD 500 or 5% of the amount of tuition and non-tuition fees, subject to the ESOS refund calculation instrument.
- Cancellation by the provider before commencement or failure to deliver the course: refund of fees paid (tuition and accommodation) or unspent tuition fees as required by Australian law.
- Withdrawal by the student: refunds of unspent tuition fees are calculated according to timing of written notice. If notice is given at least 10 weeks before commencement, a refund of fees paid is available (administration fee may be charged). Withdrawals with less than 10 weeks' notice or after commencement are treated under the EQI refund rules and unspent fees are calculated from 10 weeks after the relevant date.
- Homestay refunds: withdrawing from homestay with at least 14 days' notice entitles the student to a refund of unspent accommodation fees paid by EQI to the homestay provider; less than 14 days' notice changes the calculation.
- Refunds are paid in Australian dollars to the parent/legal custodian (or to the student if over 18 and they paid directly) and are processed within the timeframes set out in the EQI terms and conditions.

Fee payment options and practical notes

- All fees are payable in Australian dollars (AUD). EQI and schools provide payment instructions and verified bank account details on each invoice; families must verify account details on invoices before making payments. EQI will accept payments in accordance with the invoice instructions.
- Common payment methods used across Queensland state schools include secure online credit-card payment portals (for example, BPOINT for Visa/Mastercard), EFT/EFTPOS and electronic bank transfer/telegraphic transfer; specific accepted methods and online payment links are shown on each invoice.
