Academic and Intellectual

More than 100 co-curricular choices are available for Prep to Year 12. Debating, Public Speaking, Speech, Robotics and Coding, Bake and Create, and Fellowship groups are among the options. Co-curricular activities complement academic study and help girls develop skills and collaborate with peers.

Arts and Creative

Performing Arts provides opportunities in Music, Dance, Drama, Speech and Technical Theatre. The program includes lunchtime concerts, eisteddfods, Music showcases, drama productions and Presentation Day ceremonies. It also offers Bands, Orchestra, private tuition, instrument hire and vocal ensembles.

Cultural and Language

Languages are included in Ravenswood's offerings, including the Chinese Reading and Writing Club. The co-curricular program spans Languages alongside Dance and Visual Arts. Students can participate in language clubs and cultural activities as part of the co-curricular program.

Social and Hobbies

Senior School offers hands-on clubs including Chess Club, History Club, STEM Club and Improv Club. Clubs give opportunities to explore new interests, form friendships and collaborate on projects. Participation helps develop communication and teamwork through peer-led activities.

Community and Service

Cadets foster service, leadership and teamwork. Ravenswood participates in the Knox Ravenswood Army Cadet Unit, with over 300 Ravenswood students and several senior leaders.

Leadership and Professional

Cadets promote leadership and discipline, with many students attaining senior leadership ranks. Students may also propose their own clubs and lead new groups.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Sport is an integral part of Ravenswood's co-curricular program. A wide range of sports is offered with qualified coaching, supporting flexibility, strength, coordination and balance. The sport for all philosophy enables inclusive participation and contributes to physical and mental wellbeing.

Ravenswood School for Girls is a day and boarding school on an 11-acre campus in Gordon, Sydney, Australia. Founded in 1901, the school offers an Australian education with international programs. The Junior School (Prep–Year 6) follows an inquiry-based curriculum drawn from the IB Primary Years Programme, guided by the Reggio Emilia approach and Ravenswood's Positive Education framework. In the Senior School, students may choose the Higher School Certificate (HSC) or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). Years 7–10 align with NSW syllabuses and the Australian Curriculum. Languages are compulsory in the IB Diploma, with options including Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Latin.
