The Winter School is a residential program that blends academic study with snowsports at the High Country Campus.
Performing Arts is an integral part of life with a diverse program across Dance, Music, Drama and Theatre. The Redlands Ballet and Dance Academy offers a full ballet and dance program and counts current students in prestigious training institutions such as The Australian Ballet School Interstate Training Program and Queensland Ballet's Guest Academy Program. Dance Curriculum is offered from Years 8–12 with HSC and IB options, including performance and composition. Drama and Theatre provide extensive extracurricular opportunities, including the annual senior musical and various drama ensembles. Music ensembles and performance opportunities are available across junior and senior levels.
Redlands has families from over 50 countries, creating an international educational experience. The school connects to Round Square, offering international learning trips, international and virtual exchanges, and international collaborations to build language skills and cultural understanding. A Round Square Club and related activities provide opportunities for student leadership and global citizenship. The international orientation is complemented by cultural events and exchanges across the network.

A Redlands Round Square Club was launched in 2024 to explore leadership, service, adventure and inclusivity. International collaboration and service projects are embedded in the student experience through Round Square activities and events.
Leadership opportunities begin in the Junior School, where Year 2 students conduct weekly assemblies and hold roles such as Environment Patrol, Library Monitors and the Big Buddy program. In Years 3–6, student leaders are elected as School Captains, Sports Captains, Arts Captains, Environment Captains and House Captains, with additional leadership roles in Student Wellbeing, Technology and Library. In the Secondary School, leadership continues with Year Group representatives on the Student Representative Council and culminating in the election of School Captains, Sports Captains, Arts Captains, Environment Captains, Service Captains and House Captains in Year 11; Year 12 prefects also lead the school. There are Captains for each sport and cocurricular activity as well.
A wide range of sports is offered, including basketball, netball, hockey, football, rugby, AFL, snowsports, sailing and more, with participation in representative sport for Years 5–12. Outdoor Education camps are designed to build fitness, self‑reliance and teamwork, and all students from Year 9 onward may participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. Winter School is a unique residential program combining academic study with Snowsports in the Snowy Mountains.
Redlands is a coeducational day school in Australia for ages 3 to 18. The curriculum combines the Australian Curriculum with International Baccalaureate Diploma, giving families a flexible pathway from Preschool through Year 12. The IB Diploma has been offered since 1988, making Redlands the longest‑running IB school in New South Wales. In Years 11–12 students choose six subjects with Higher Level and Standard Level options, and the school also offers a Bi‑lingual Diploma. The HSC pathway provides a broad mix of 1‑ and 2‑unit subjects across Standard, Advanced and Extension levels, with Preliminary courses beginning in Year 11 and internal assessments contributing toward HSC marks. The Redlands Learning Platform supports higher‑order thinking, deep learning, social‑emotional development and independent study, drawing on Harvard University research. The school originated in 1884, moved to its site in 1899, and operates across three campuses with a Master Plan to unite Junior to Senior education.
