Debating and public speaking are featured as co-curricular academic opportunities. The school has inter-school competitions for senior students in Years 7-12 including ISDA, SDN and IGSA Archdale Debating, with Mock Trial and Tournament of Minds available. Junior School students in Years 5-6 participate in ISDA and SDN debating competitions and the Tournament of Minds. Maths Olympiad and Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) extend analytical and global thinking.
Music is at the heart of Roseville College with classroom, extended tuition and co-curricular streams. Classroom programs run from Preparatory to Year 8 and the tuition program offers instrumental, vocal, musicianship and composition lessons with many instruments available for hire. There are ensembles including choir, orchestra, Senior and Junior concert bands, saxophone, woodwind and brass ensembles, and various string groups. Performing arts include drama clubs, theatre sports and stagecraft, with on-site Dance classes in Ballet Foundations, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Barre and DanceFit.
