Learning support is provided by a team of specialist educators who work with teachers to address the learning needs of students requiring additional support. The Junior School has onsite occupational therapists and speech therapists, and staff collaborate with school psychologists and outside professionals to tailor support, including in-class assistance, diagnostic screening, Individual Adjustment plans (IAPs), targeted intervention plans, and curriculum/assessment adjustments. - International Baccalaureate (IB) surcharge for Years 11–12: AUD 310 per term (additional).

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Invoicing: Tuition Fee statements for Kindergarten to Year 11 are issued prior to the start of each of the four school terms. Year 12 is invoiced in three equal instalments (Terms 1–3). All fee statements are payable within 14 days of issue. The 2026 due dates shown are 28 January, 21 April, 20 July and 12 October (unless you participate in a Direct Debit payment plan). A late payment fee of AUD 250 per term applies if fees are not paid by the due date (unless on a Direct Debit plan).
- Direct Debit payment plans are available on weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly schedules from January to October; the first instalment for 2026 plans commences 28 January 2026. A rejected debit administration fee of AUD 25 is charged per rejection.
- Advance payment discount: A 2.5% discount is applied to the Tuition Fee component if Tuition Fees and all Student Levies are paid in full by the advance payment deadline (example: 12 December 2025 for the 2026 advance payment option).
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable. St Andrew's Cathedral School operates as a day school rather than a boarding school.
Other costs and optional charges
- Student Resources Levy: charged separately to Tuition Fees; covers curriculum materials, online resources, technology infrastructure, the school‑provided laptop for Years 5–12, student diary, stationery and printing. Year 11 and 12 texts may need to be purchased directly.
- Curriculum + Activities Levy: covers a large proportion of incursions and some excursions but excludes representative sport, music tuition, instrument hire, extended study programme and Uniform Shop charges.
- Representative sport, private music tuition, instrument hire, some excursions, optional overseas or extra outdoor activities, elective subject materials and some subject‑specific charges are billed separately as applicable. Year 10 optional Outdoor Education activities may incur additional charges.
- Uniforms: charged separately via the Uniform Shop.
- P&F (Parents & Friends) voluntary contribution: AUD 80 per family per annum.
- Building Fund (tax‑deductible) suggested target: AUD 800 per family per annum (voluntary).
Refund, withdrawal and place‑holding rules
- Enrolment Application Fee: non‑refundable. Enrolment Confirmation Fee: non‑refundable. Enrolment Bond (overseas) is credited to the final account in the year the student leaves, or dealt with as specified on claim.
- Notice of withdrawal: ten school weeks' written notice to the Head of School is required. Without that notice, one term's fees will be payable. Extended Leave of Absence: where a place is held for one term to twelve months, an Extended Absence Fee may apply.
Fee payment options
- BPAY: details appear on fee statements; BPAY via bank account or credit card is accepted with no surcharge.
- Bank transfer / PayID: bank account and PayID details appear on fee statements.
- Credit card: accepted via BPAY with no surcharge or via the school website with a 0.75% surcharge.
- Direct Debit: recurring instalment plans available (weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly) from January to October. A $25 administration fee applies for rejected debits.
Discounts and sibling reductions
- Sibling discounts (annual, applied to the eldest where relevant): two siblings — 10% on the elder; three siblings — 25% on the eldest; four siblings — 50% on the eldest. Only one discount per student; discounts exclude cases where a bursary or scholarship is granted.
Notes & important items affecting fees
- Outdoor Education is compulsory for students K–10; costs for the programme are included in the Outdoor Education levy but some optional activities (notably in Year 10) can attract additional charges.
- The Student Resources Levy covers the school‑provided laptop for Years 5–12; some subject materials (particularly Year 11/12 texts) may need to be purchased separately.

St Andrew's Cathedral School is an independent Anglican co-educational day school in Sydney's CBD. It delivers the NSW curriculum for Years 7–10 through the NSW Education Standards Authority, with the IB Middle Years Programme layered over these guidelines. Core subjects include English, Mathematics, Science, History and Social Science, Technology and Applied Studies, Languages Other Than English, Creative Arts and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education. A School Mandated Compulsory Course is Christian Development. In Years 11–12 students can study either the Higher School Certificate or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, with a track record of strong results in both credentials. The two high-rise CBD campuses adjacent to St Andrew's Cathedral use the Chapter House for assemblies and performing arts. Facilities include the TAS Design Centre with labs and 3D printers, a library system across three sites, and Kirrikee Outdoor Education Centre. The school hosts more than 30 ensembles, choristers and a robust performing arts program, and is an IB World School.
