The King's School is an independent, boys' school in Australia for students aged 4 to 18, with boarding at the heart of school life. The curriculum combines the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) with NSW Australian Curriculum. In the Preparatory School six Units of Inquiry integrate Science, History and Geography, the Arts, Mandarin and Physical Education, taught in an inquiry-based, globally minded context. Specialist classes include Music, Visual Arts, Woodwork, Physical Education, Biblical Studies, Mandarin and STEM, supported by targeted Educational Support Services and an Enrichment & Extension Program for gifted learners; external competitions include the da Vinci Decathlon, Maths Challenge, Maths Olympiad and Write a Book in a Day. The school sits on nearly 480 acres with sport and performance facilities, including 17 ovals, pools, a Theatre, a Music Centre and Drama Centre.
