Girls may enter Wenona in Kindergarten, Year 3, Year 5, or Year 7. Vacancies in other non-intake years are offered as they occur. Boarding is available from Years 7 to 12 with intakes in each year group according to availability. Boarding places are offered two years in advance for Year 7 and for other years when available. 1. Complete and submit an online Application for Enrolment form. A separate application form must be completed for each child. The form must be accompanied by a reference, copy of birth certificate and payment of the non-refundable application fee (AUD 400). 2. The School will confirm receipt of your application. 3. Your daughter's name will be placed onto the Wait List for the year of entry you are seeking, according to date of application and enrolment priority. All applicants' names go onto Wait Lists until two years prior to entry, when the enrolment process commences. 4. Please read Wenona's Application Conditions (PDF) for further information. Offer of a Place: 1. Two years before the proposed year of entry, the School will conduct an information session, giving families the opportunity to tour the School, meet staff and current students. 2. Following the information session, and pending availability of places, girls may be invited to attend an interview, after which a place may be offered in writing. 3. To accept an offer of place, parents must sign and return the Acceptance of Offer of Place form, together with the non-refundable and non-transferable Enrolment Confirmation Fee, by the required date. 4. If Wenona is unable to offer a girl a position at a particular point of entry, the family is contacted by mail and given the opportunity to amend the girl's future point of entry. If this option is chosen, the girl's name is placed on the chosen Wait List according to her original date of application. 5. There is automatic progression from Wenona Junior School to Year 7. 2. Enrolment Fees: 1. Application fee of AUD 400, payable when application is made. 2. Enrolment Confirmation fee of AUD 4,000, payable when a place is offered to confirm the place. Notes: It is essential that at all times the Enrolments Office is kept updated with each family member's contact details because if at any stage of the enrolment process we cannot contact the family, the application will be cancelled. Any change of address details or a request for a change of entry year must come to the Enrolments Office in writing by letter or email.

Wait Lists are generated according to date of application and enrolment priority afforded to siblings, daughters of alumnae and other similar considerations. Applications are accepted at any time from birth, and position on the Wait List is largely determined by date of application and enrolment priority, so an early application is the best option. Having a daughter at Wenona gives your other daughters sibling priority on the Wait List; siblings can be admitted only when vacancies exist. If needed, a girl's entry year can be amended and the name will be placed on the Wait List for the new year according to her original application date. There is an automatic progression from Wenona Junior School to Year 7.

Wenona offers scholarships to assist girls from all backgrounds to benefit from its education. Scholarships are offered at the Principal's discretion. Indigenous Australian and Torres Strait Islander heritage students are encouraged to apply. The Wenona Foundation Scholarships (2026 entry) are means-tested; applications were open previously. For 2027 entry, Academic Scholarships are available for entry to Years 7 and 11, with full or partial tuition remission, offered on the basis of scholarship exam results and interviews; registration closed on August 14, 2025; the scholarship test was held on August 22, 2025; shortlisted applicants were invited to interviews; offers were expected by mid-October 2025; it is noted that academic scholarship applicants do not need to submit a Wenona Application for Enrolment form in addition to the scholarship process. Music Scholarships for Year 7 in 2027 require audition, a Music Background Form, scholarship exam results and interviews; registration closed on August 14, 2025; submit Music Background Form by September 12, 2025; sit the scholarship test on August 22, 2025; if selected, attend a Music Scholarship Audition on November 7, 2025; shortlisted applicants attend interviews; offers by end of November 2025; Boarding Scholarships are available for Years 7, 9 or 11; based on a Boarding Scholarship application (portfolio) and interviews; registration closed on August 18, 2025; shortlisted applicants attend interviews; offers by mid-October 2025.
