French, Chinese, Japanese, Italian and Spanish are taught. In Year 7, students choose two languages, and in Year 8 they choose one language. From Years 7 to 12, languages are part of the curriculum, with Chinese offered at Continuers and Extension levels.
Italy Immersion provides an Italian language immersion experience for Italian language students. The program is available to Years 9 and 10 Italian learners. Wenona also offers Cambodian cultural immersion experiences where students engage in service tasks in Kampong Cham. The school lists international opportunities with exchange providers such as Southern Cross Cultural Exchange, WEP Australia, AFX, Nacel, Le Vésinet, AFS and YFU.
Wenona is a day and boarding school for girls in Australia dating to 1886. The school uses a dual curriculum, combining NSW curriculum with PYP for Kindergarten to Year 6. The Junior School operates on two campuses: Woodstock (Kindergarten to Year 3) and Hooke House (Years 4 to 6). In Year 5, Renaissance Studies begins, and Educational Support Services provide learning support, English language support and gifted and talented extension. Wenona is an IB World School authorised to offer PYP. In Year 10, students complete the Stage 5 NSW curriculum; from Years 11–12, the HSC is studied with English compulsory and languages including French, Mandarin, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese, plus electives. Facilities include Athenaeum, a 300-seat Independent Theatre, Barbara Jackson Library, science labs, art spaces and a 25-m pool used by Wenona Swim Club. The campus supports Performing Arts, STEM and languages, and offers overseas study opportunities after Year 10.
