Natural sciences, innovative research and Design & Technology are promoted at COLE Primary and Secondary levels, with age-appropriate emphasis on English and, depending on age, on business and political studies. English is a core language of instruction. Language development and academic thinking are emphasised as part of the learning approach. The school highlights a broad curriculum including arts, mathematics, music and the sciences.

COLE International Schools in Innsbruck offers a bilingual English and German early years pathway and a bilingual Primary School for children aged 6 to 10. The Pre-School operates in English with German speaking assistants and follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage for younger children, while the Primary delivers parallel instruction in German and English under the supervision of qualified teachers from Britain and Austria.
