Art from Waste demonstrates student creativity by transforming everyday waste into art. The Leadership Team includes the CEO & Director, ELC Principal, PYP Principal, MYP Principal, and DP-CP Principal. International Baccalaureate (IB) professional development workshops are offered to educators and school leaders to strengthen IB practice and school leadership. The school emphasizes ongoing professional development and aims to uphold IB standards across all programmes.
Student wellbeing is central to learning, guided by the IB philosophy to support emotional, social, and psychological development. The school provides full-time counselors/psychologists who support emotional well-being, relationships, academic motivation, and transitions. Wellbeing sessions include Social-Emotional Learning, mindfulness, art therapy, bullying-awareness initiatives, Mental Health Day, Random Acts of Kindness, and inclusive practices. European Azerbaijan School is a private international day school in Azerbaijan delivering the International Baccalaureate across four IB divisions: ELC, PYP, MYP and DP/CP. It educates ages 3–17 with English as the language of instruction; Azerbaijani is taught in some language subjects and Russian, German, Spanish and French are offered. The DP is a two-year program with six subjects (three HL, three SL) plus the Core (TOK, CAS and Extended Essay). The CP supports progression to higher education, apprenticeships or employment, with university guidance. EAS is an IB World School for PYP (2017), MYP (2021) and DP (2015) and the only Azerbaijani IB school accredited for CP; CIS accreditation (2023) and COBIS member.
