The European Azerbaijan School is a private school authorized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme framework at EAS includes PYP (authorized in 2017), DP (authorized in 2015), and MYP (authorized in 2021), and EAS is an IB World School. It has grown from 95 students in 2012 to 1,901 students. In 2023, CIS accreditation was achieved; EAS is officially accredited by the IB for the Career-related Programme (CP), the only school in Azerbaijan accredited in all four IB Programmes; EAS is an Accredited COBIS member. It operates on two campuses: Yasamal (Early Years and Primary) and Badamdar (Middle Years, Diploma and CP).
The PTA serves as a vital link between parents, teachers, and the school leadership, fostering collaboration to improve the learning environment. The PTA was established with the aim of ensuring the voices of parents are heard, and the first PTA Conference on December 14, 2019 attracted more than 250 participants. The inaugural conference elected 102 PTA members and 15 PTA Board members; leadership now includes Jeyla Rahimova (Primary School) and Ramil Aliyev (Secondary School). The PTA regularly organizes and participates in meetings and collaborative projects, with events such as the EAS PTA Breakfast.

The PTA is dedicated to strengthening cooperation between parents and teachers; supporting the academic, social, and cultural development of students; encouraging parent engagement in school activities and initiatives; and building a strong, inclusive school community. At the inaugural conference, 102 PTA members were democratically elected, along with 15 PTA Board members; leadership includes Jeyla Rahimova (Primary School) and Ramil Aliyev (Secondary School). The PTA regularly organizes meetings and collaborative projects and highlights initiatives under 'PTA in Action' including events such as the EAS PTA Breakfast.
European Azerbaijan School is a private international day school in Azerbaijan delivering the International Baccalaureate across four IB divisions: ELC, PYP, MYP and DP/CP. It educates ages 3–17 with English as the language of instruction; Azerbaijani is taught in some language subjects and Russian, German, Spanish and French are offered. The DP is a two-year program with six subjects (three HL, three SL) plus the Core (TOK, CAS and Extended Essay). The CP supports progression to higher education, apprenticeships or employment, with university guidance. EAS is an IB World School for PYP (2017), MYP (2021) and DP (2015) and the only Azerbaijani IB school accredited for CP; CIS accreditation (2023) and COBIS member. The campuses are Yasamal (EY and Primary) and Badamdar (Middle, DP, CP), with specialist classrooms, labs, libraries, auditoria, music and art spaces, a 25m pool and an IB Study Centre. Wellbeing and safeguarding are integrated across programs.
