APG School is located in Khamis, Bahrain near the historical Khamis Mosque. It serves Kindergarten through Grade 12 and enrolls over 1,390 students. The school is licensed by the Ministry of Education to admit Bahraini and non-Bahraini students. It is a member of the Council of International Schools since 2017 and is rated Outstanding by the Bahrain Quality Assurance Authority. APG is an IB World School with a Primary Years Programme candidate status and full authorisation to offer the IB Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme, and Career-related Programme.
APG offers the International Baccalaureate programs: Primary Years Programme is a candidate, and the Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme, and Career-related Programme are authorised. The school is affiliated with the International Baccalaureate and UNESCO. It is a member of the Council of International Schools since 2017 and holds accreditation with the Bahrain Quality Assurance Authority and COIS.
APG School offers eleven clubs that cover a range of interests and promote leadership and collaboration. Contests are organized to challenge students and showcase talents, spanning academic and creative categories. The GATE Units include CORT Training, Thinking Corner, and ALPHA Program for high achievers. The Creative Action Services program reflects the IB CAS framework, with students required to complete 150 hours of CAS activities across the two-year diploma program.
