It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
APG School was founded in 1996 by Mr. Mohammed Moosa Al Aali in Khamis, Bahrain, near the historic Khamis Mosque. It began with about 250 students in Grades 1–3 and has since expanded into a Kindergarten–Grade 12 private school licensed by Bahrain's Ministry of Education to educate Bahraini and non-Bahraini students. The school has grown into a leading educational institution in Bahrain, emphasizing values-based learning and international standards. APG is a Council of International Schools member since 2017 and an IB World School, with a Primary Years Programme candidate and full authorisation for MYP, DP, and CP. Alumni have earned prestigious scholarships and gained admission to top universities locally and abroad.
APG's student life centers on clubs, contests, and service programs. The school runs eleven clubs that foster leadership, collaboration, and creativity, and it uses contests and GATE units to challenge students. The IB CAS program is embedded in student activities, linking classroom learning to real-world action. The school also publishes news about events such as the 2025 graduation for the Class of 2025 and APG MUN and partnership events that involve students and families.
A formal Parent-Teacher Association is not described in public APG materials. Parent involvement appears through school events, partnerships, and communications that invite family participation. APG's news pages highlight activities such as graduation ceremonies and collaborative events that engage families, and the school's student-life programs include projects and competitions that families may support. The IB World School status and CIS accreditation reflect APG's integration into the international school community. These elements together indicate a family-informed culture, even though a separate PTA is not publicly documented.
