Beacon Private School was founded in 2018 in Bahrain. It is owned by SAMA Educational Company and JEO Capital, with SEK Education Group managing the school. The school earned International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme authorization in 2021 and is pursuing Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme candidacy. NEASC accreditation was granted in 2022. In 2023 Beacon joined SEK Education Group and appointed a new Head of School to lead the school.
