Capital School Bahrain is based on a classic British through-school model and operates with a class/form structure within key stages. It teaches the full British National Curriculum while adhering to Bahrain Ministry of Education requirements, including Arabic and Islamic Classes. Capital School Bahrain was established in 2015 and grew rapidly. In 2022, Capital School moved to a new campus in Bu Quwah, Bahrain, outgrowing its original premises. Additional year groups were added to this extended site, with three separate school buildings to accommodate pupils from pre-primary to secondary.
Capital School Bahrain maintains an active and engaged school community with strong parent involvement through the PARENT CORNER, which includes a Parent Teacher Organisation (PTO) and TEA AND TALK. The PTO coordinates a variety of activities, including TEA AND TALK sessions and parent-facing events such as Primary Parent Talk and Parent Workshops. Additional resources and communications for families are routed through the PTO, including Capital News! and a range of letters and notices. The PTO maintains a calendar of events and supports engagement through Event Highlights, with events such as Capital School Open Day and curriculum information evenings. Parents can arrange tours or virtual meetings with admissions staff as part of involvement and information sharing. The PTO also supports parent-teacher engagement via the Parent Portal.
