Aga Khan Academy Dhaka is an IB World School offering the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) for students aged 6 to 18. On a 17‑acre campus near Bashundhara, it serves 750 students (K–12) with capacity to grow to 1,200; a residential programme from Grade 6 is planned. The campus provides subject- and age-appropriate classrooms, science and computer laboratories, a library and resource centres, and spaces for fine arts, music and dance with practice booths. The Commons hosts dining and music and drama performances. The Aga Khan Curricular Strands—Ethics, Pluralism, Cultures (Muslim civilisations emphasis), Governance and Civil Society, Economics for Development—are woven through the curriculum to foster inquiry, collaboration and responsible leadership. English is the common medium, with dual-language instruction that includes a national language and intercultural immersion. The programme prepares students for university admissions in Bangladesh and abroad and connects them with the AK Academy network through exchanges.
