Aga Khan School, Dhaka is a long-standing international school in Bangladesh, part of the Aga Khan Schools network of more than 200 campuses worldwide. The school offers a blended curriculum drawing on the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) for younger students and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for older students, in addition to Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge A Levels for senior study. In the Junior section, learning follows the PYP framework, while the Senior section provides CIE and IB qualifications, supported by Cambridge A Levels options. Since its founding in 1988 with 25 students and seven teachers, the school has grown to about 1,200 students and around 200 teachers and staff. It is affiliated with Bangladesh and emphasizes academics alongside sport and culture. The campus prioritizes professional development for teachers and social-emotional learning, all within an IB and Cambridge framework for a coherent, globally oriented education for learners.
