AISD is situated on a 4.5-acre site within the Baridhara Diplomatic Zone of Dhaka. The facilities include an outdoor field, two gymnasiums, a 25-meter heated swimming pool, a tennis court, playgrounds, and a fitness center, in addition to classroom and study spaces. All indoor instructional spaces are fully air-conditioned with an extensive air quality filtration system to maintain a healthy air quality index. There are 60 classrooms in modern, spacious western-style buildings, with two libraries serving the Elementary and Secondary schools. The campus also hosts a state-of-the-art performing arts center, art and music facilities, a nurses clinic, counseling offices, a student center, a coffee shop, and a cafeteria.
AISD features a 25-meter heated swimming pool, two gymnasiums, two tennis courts, and a soccer/athletic field. An outdoor field and multiple playgrounds support a range of team and individual sports. A fitness center is available for student workouts. The facilities provide space for athletics and physical education throughout the campus.

Discovery Week is the experiential learning program for secondary students, offering week-long, authentic educational experiences. InResidence@AISD brings experts from diverse disciplines—artists, poets, sports coaches, scientists, entrepreneurs—to AISD for residencies of one or more weeks. Service Learning enriches the curriculum and helps students develop personal responsibility and empathy. The program aims to connect classroom work with real-world contexts through research, writing, and reflection. After school access allows parents, students, alumni, and community members to use campus facilities outside school hours, including the cafeteria, coffee shop, and athletic areas.
American International School Dhaka (AISD) provides a truly international education for ages 3–18, with IB Primary Years Programme, IB Diploma Programme, and an American Diploma pathway. Instruction is in English, with English as an Additional Language support as needed. Students progress through three high school pathways: High School Diploma, HSD with IBDP courses, or full IBDP; the IB Diploma requires six subjects, ToK, and the Extended Essay, with a minimum of 24 points. All graduating students complete Service Learning, and those not taking the EE complete a Senior Project.
