Introduction

BEPS International School Brussels is an inclusive international day school serving children aged 2½ to 18. Founded in 1972, it welcomes a diverse community of over 50 nationalities, with around 300 students and a faculty. The curriculum spans IEYC and IPC in the early years, British curriculum in the primary years, and the IB programme across the Middle Years and Diploma, plus the IBCP and BTEC qualifications for career-related pathways. English is the language of instruction, with EAL support including Survival English and an EAL club, while the French Acquisition Programme promotes multilingual communication. The secondary programme emphasizes inquiry-based learning aligned with IB practices, small class sizes (up to 18) and authentic, interdisciplinary projects. The campus combines a historic façade with contemporary, purpose-built spaces including a Maker Space and a modern Science Lab, plus spaces for collaboration and quiet study. BEPS emphasizes real-world learning, wellbeing, and a caring, family-like community.
