Facilities Overview

Bogaerts International School operates two Brussels campuses: North Campus in Diegem and South Campus in Uccle. The North Campus is located near NATO and other multinational companies. The South Campus address is Rue Engeland 555, 1180 Uccle. The campuses offer learning spaces including Primary Library, Secondary Library, Reading Room, Study Room, Resource Centre, Art Atelier, a gym and a canteen. Adventure Camp provides facilities such as a swimming pool, gym and multi-sport fields as part of its outdoor learning experiences.

Sports Facilities

North Campus offers a swimming pool, a football field, and a basketball court. Other athletic facilities include Paralympics, Bicycling, Dodgeball Tournaments, Ping Pong, Billiards and Yoga. Adventure Camp uses top-tier facilities such as a swimming pool, gym and multi-sport fields. Sports are integrated into school life with activities during school hours. External partnerships with Brussels Basketball and Garrincha Padel Club enrich students' sports experiences.

Academic Facilities

Primary Library and Secondary Library, Reading Room, Study Room, Resource Centre, Art Atelier, a gym and a canteen support daily academic life. The Secondary Library provides access to ProQuest and JSTOR. Academic life is guided by concept-based curriculum with pillars including Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction, Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning, Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP), and Concept-Based Inquiry. The Diploma Programme is offered as part of the IB continuum. Two Brussels campuses support learning across Early Years, Primary and Secondary.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Extracurricular activities at North Campus include Extracurricular Clubs, Music Band, Math Club and Sports, with activities scheduled throughout the year. Regular after-school programming runs on Wednesdays for EY & Primary from 13:00 to 15:00 and for Secondary from 15:00 to 17:00, with Stay & Play and Homework Supervision from 16:00 to 17:00. Student-led clubs give learners a voice in choosing activities. The Extracurricular program focuses on connecting students across age groups to foster belonging. The program also includes after-school care and workshops.

Bogaerts International School (BIS) South Campus is located on the historic Domaine Latour de Freins in Uccle, south of Brussels. The school provides the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum for students aged 3 to 18, covering the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes. Situated within a six-hectare wooded park, the campus features a Flemish neo-renaissance main building, an indoor gymnasium, and an outdoor tennis court.A distinctive feature of the school is its professional sports partnerships, notably with Brussels Basketball and the Garrincha Padel Club. These collaborations allow students to train in professional facilities and engage with elite athletes. Academically, the school utilizes an "atelier-based" approach to the arts and integrates technology through robotics and coding workshops. BIS also offers on-site boarding, catering to a community of over 50 nationalities. The curriculum is delivered in English, with dedicated support for English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.
