Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Registration is accepted depending on availability at the start of the school year or during the school year. Provide as much information as possible so Montessori Kids can contact you and consider your registration. Availability governs admission decisions.
2. The registration procedure takes place in three stages. Stage 1: complete a registration application and pay €500 non-refundable registration fee. Stage 2: where possible, a meeting with the child is scheduled to help prepare their integration into the group. Stage 3: if the application is accepted, the school sends a schooling contract that the family must sign; a copy is given to the parents.
3. On the child's first day, the family must submit documents to the administration: medical file, school excursion authorization, authorization to photograph your child, and authorization to edit the parents' address. The registration becomes effective after reading and acceptance of internal regulations and submission of the completed registration form. If schooling is paid by the employer, tuition is due in full on 15 June preceding the start of the school year; otherwise, tuition can be paid monthly in ten installments from September to June by direct debit or standing order.
4. Montessori Kids offers different school programs; two types of rates: personal rates paid by the parents and business rates paid by the employer. A 15% reduction applies to the second child enrolled in the same family. Tuition includes school supplies and, depending on the chosen days, music, psychomotor skills, swimming, sports and theater lessons; excursions are included except for the weeks of green class or sea. Rates and programs are subject to annual revision. Prices by age group exist with program codes and amounts (e.g., 18 months to 3 years A3 7,910€; 3 to 6 years A 9,040€; 6 to 9 years E 11,075€; 9 to 12 years F 11,075€).
Montessori Kids Lasne is a Montessori school serving ages 18 months to 12 years. The campus is organized around the Montessori prepared environment, designed to support concentration, self-construction and respect for others. The program emphasizes life skills, self-esteem and cooperative learning through sensitive periods and an integrated, cosmopolitan approach. Children progress through four age groups: 18 months to 3 years, 3 to 6 years (the Children's House), 6 to 9 years and 9 to 12 years. For the 3-6 year group, the core work areas are Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics and Language, complemented by Rhythmic education taught in French. The school offers a broad activity program, including swimming, sports education, plastic arts and theatre with a psychomotor focus. In primary, a five-day boarding trip is organized and excursions are planned within nearby zones, supervised by bilingual staff. Founded in 1999 by Laurence Randoux and Marc Ciepers, it serves 100 children.
