The Montessori Kids environment supports autonomy, self‑confidence, and concentration from 18 months onward. The 18 months to 3 years class offers group activities such as dance, singing, and reading to foster social interaction and community life. The atmosphere provides academic well‑being through purposeful activities, social well‑being through exchanges and cooperation, and psychological well‑being through an environment tailored to each child's needs. Across the four age groups, cooperation replaces competition, with older children sharing knowledge with younger peers.
Montessori Kids operates in a bilingual context with two partner delegates in each class, one French and one English. The delegates assist teachers during events and listen to parents about school or educational issues. They organize delegate/parent meetings and communicate with the school leadership. Rhythmic education classes are given in French, indicating a French‑language component in the curriculum.
The classroom approach emphasizes a serene educational atmosphere and cooperation rather than competition. Older children share knowledge with younger peers, building social connectedness and a sense of belonging. The 18 months to 3 years class supports psychological well‑being through an atmosphere tailored to each child's needs.
