The Turkish Maarif Foundation regards social and cultural activities as important factors in developing knowledge, skills, and behaviors. Schools organize activities aimed at developing adherence to social norms, culture of shared life, and effective communication. They also foster responsibility, altruism, entrepreneurship, and aesthetic development, and promote understanding of civilization and socialization. Activities include visits to cultural and historical sites and social institutions, and student clubs and study projects. The Cambridge Diploma Program uses Cambridge syllabi in English for English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and IT. Bosnian language and literature, Geography, History, Music, and Visual Arts are taught in Bosnian according to the Sarajevo Canton Curriculum. Students study two foreign languages: English and Turkish. English is the language of instruction for Cambridge subjects, while local-language subjects are taught in Bosnian, providing bilingual academic opportunities. The Isa-beg Ishaković and Sarajevo campuses offer English-language instruction across many subjects, reinforcing English proficiency.

1. Early Registration: Early registration provides information about International Maarif Schools where the latest educational technologies are used and the most current curriculum is applied. 2. First Grade Enrollment (Sarajevo): Notice of enrollment for the first grade of primary school for the 2025/2026 academic year (second enrollment period) is published. The August intake runs from August 1 to August 30, 2025. Children who by March 1 of the current year are five and a half years old may enroll in the first grade. The school may admit a child younger than the stated age upon written request by the parent/guardian after review by the Enrollment Committee and only if it is in the best interest of the child; younger enrollment is possible only if the child will turn six by the end of the calendar year. Required documentation includes: birth certificate (certified copy); certificate of residence (CIPS) – original or certified copy for BIH citizens, or white karton / temporary or permanent residence decision for foreigners; citizenship certificate; proof of attendance or completion of the mandatory preschool program or a parent's statement explaining why the child did not attend; medical certificate of the child's health status with description of any difficulties; additional medical documentation for students with health history; a completed enrollment form signed by the parents during testing.
