The Colégio 7 de Setembro offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for high school, authorized since 2020. The DP curriculum is integrated with the regular Brazilian curriculum, enriching it with six IB subjects and the Core components Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS). After two years of study, students sit the official IB examinations. The school joined the IB World Schools network in 2019 by offering the Diploma Programme and is pursuing authorization to offer the Middle Years Programme for Fundamental II (grades 6–9), expanding the IB continuum.
The Dance Academy offers classes from Infantil 3, including Baby Class, Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop (Aldeota campus only). The Center for Arts provides Visual Arts, Theater, Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, Singing, and Choir. The Extracurricular offerings also include a Sports Center (see lifestyle) and a Technology Center with Robotics for 2nd–8th year fundamental, featuring Maker-based activities.
Bilingual education is central to the school's mission, with English-taught classes and English used as a tool to learn curricular content, enabling integrated learning and broader communication. Classes are small and English instruction substitutes for the regular English course, counting as a curricular grade. The STI Global pillar promotes Global Culture, providing exposure to Spanish and English from early years and integrating cross-language experiences to develop intercultural communication.
Advanced Performance Courses (Cursos de Alto Desempenho) include Clube de Ciências, Astronomy, and Olympiads in Mathematics and History, with multiple levels and entry as vacancies allow. The Science Club develops skills related to the scientific method across biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, technology, mathematics, and arts for 4th–7th years. The Turmas 1000 program expands study routines to reinforce and deepen mathematics, chemistry, physics, and biology, while encouraging participation in competitions.
IB Diploma Programme includes Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) as a core component. In the Middle Years Programme, students undertake the Community Project (Projeto Comunitário) in 9th grade, identifying a real community need and implementing a concrete action to generate positive impact, developing leadership and social responsibility.
The IB framework shapes internationally minded students who are Investigators, Informed, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled, Open-minded, Caring, Risk-takers, Balanced, and Reflective. Admissions to the IB Diploma Programme include an information session with the school principal and the DP coordinator, portfolio review, and English proficiency requirements (minimum B2). Family engagement and support for the IB profile are expected as part of the process.
The school offers a Dance Academy, a Center for Arts with Visual Arts, Theater and music programs, and a Sports Center offering Futsal, Basketball, Volleyball, Karate, Soccer, Swimming, Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Skating (Aldeota campus). The Technology Center provides Robotics for younger students, fostering maker-like creativity. The program emphasizes balanced routines, rest, and leisure, with nutritional guidance as part of holistic wellbeing.
