Facilities Overview

The school has a 57,000-square-meter campus in Morumbi, São Paulo, with 17,854 square meters of green space. It has 107 learning environments and has welcomed more than 40,000 students in its history. The school has 39 teachers and/or doctors. The facilities include a library (expanded to three floors as of February 2026) with more than 45,000 reference works and a Documentation Center (CDI), convivência spaces, a sports area, laboratories, music rooms, parks, pools, a STEAM space and a theater.

Sports Facilities

The sports area includes a gymnasium with two courts, spaces for dance and martial arts, and a multipurpose space for artistic gymnastics and circus activities. Outside, the complex features a football field, an athletics track and four additional courts for various modalities or individual activities. These facilities promote health, well-being and socialization among students.

Academic Facilities

The school has modern laboratories supporting practical science learning in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Natural Sciences. Biology includes microscopes, magnifying lenses and anatomical models; Physics covers experiments in mechanics, optics, thermodynamics and electromagnetism; Chemistry enables exploration of properties and transformations of matter with modern equipment and an experimental kitchen. The Natural Sciences space for early grades uses playful, experimental activities, and a Preparation Room ensures organization and safety for all laboratory practices. The STEAM space integrates technology and creativity for interdisciplinary project-based learning, with resources such as 3D printers, a laser cutter and a video studio.

Extra-Curricular Activities

The school provides spaces that foster extracurricular activities in social interaction and creativity, including parks, dining areas and garden spaces. The sports area supports dance and martial arts, plus spaces for gymnastics and circus activities, and outdoor fields and courts for team and individual activities. New music rooms support music education for 2nd to 9th grade with audiovisual equipment and adaptable spaces. The theater hosts artistic, cultural and pedagogical events and serves as a dynamic space for student creativity and community. The STEAM space combines technology and creativity to support interdisciplinary, project-based learning.

Colégio Miguel de Cervantes is a bilingual, multicultural school in São Paulo delivering the IB Diploma Programme to students from 3 to 18. Founded in 1978 by Spanish residents, the school blends Spanish-Brazilian private education and aims to promote Spanish language and culture. The three-level structure is Educación Infantil, Ensino Fundamental, and Enseñanza Media, with personalized teaching and development of the whole person. The campus in Morumbi covers 57,000 m2, including 17,854 m2 of green space and 107 learning environments.
