Notes on what is not included in the monthly tuition
- Tuition amounts exclude collective materials, school meals/feeding, specialized activity materials (examples listed: kimono, robotics kit, swimming kit), educational books and external exam/diploma fees (Keystone, Kognity, IB exams), and other third-party services. These items are charged separately.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Standard tuition is invoiced as an annual plan composed of an entry fee plus 12 monthly installments. Where installments are specified they run as 12 monthly payments.
- Deadlines and early-payment adjustments for annual payment (Plan 2026): full annual payment made by 31 August 2025 is accepted with no adjustment; payment by 30 September 2025 carries a 2% increase; payment by 31 October 2025 carries a 3% increase; payment by 30 November 2025 carries a 4% increase; payments after these windows are subject to the full announced annual adjustment of 5%. (These dates and percentages are stated in the 2026 payment plan.)
- A financial discount of 2.5% is applied for payments made up to the installment due date (this discount does not apply to payments made as a single cash payment).
- Specific additional charges (materials, books, exam fees) have their own billing schedules; many of these are billed with due dates around the 10th of the month and can be parcelled in specified numbers of installments (examples follow below).
Other compulsory and recurring fees (examples and schedules)
- Collective materials (K1–K5; G1–G5; G6–G12): charged as two installments of R$ 586.37 (typically in February and June) covering items such as backpack, agenda, art materials, stationery and collective materials for science fairs and events.
- Educational books and digital learning platforms:
- Grade 12 (G12) Farias Brito (ENEM/Vestibular) materials: R$ 1,766.82 (total); payment parcelled in 10 installments (February to November); due date listed as the 10th of each month.
- Grades 10 and 11 (G10/G11) Kognity digital books: USD 198 plus taxes; parcelled in 4 installments (February to May); due date listed as the 10th of each month.
- Keystone and IB-related fees (charged in USD):
- G9 & G10 Keystone diploma fees: USD 1,224.00 (2 Keystone credits); parcelable up to 10x (February–November); base of calculation is the dollar exchange on the first business day of the month.
- G11 Keystone: USD 612.00 (1 Keystone credit) or USD 880.00 (2 half credits as shown); G11 IB exam fees: USD 910 + taxes; Keystone and IB fees have their own parceling schedules (examples: Keystone up to 5 or 10 installments; IB exams parcelable in 3 installments in Oct–Dec). Due dates for these parcels are listed as the 10th of each month.
- Events, competitions, trips and extracurricular charges are billed separately when those activities occur and are charged according to the activity.
Sibling discounts and family discounts
- Sibling discounts are applied to monthly tuition for additional enrolled children from the same family as follows: 10% discount on the 2nd student's monthly tuition, 20% on the 3rd student, and 30% on the 4th student. If a family has more than three children, those additional children receive a 10% discount as stated in the payment plan.
Refunds / absence & exchange billing rules
- Exchange students: students who undertake an exchange are charged an amount equivalent to 50% of the annual tuition for the year in question as the basis for charging while on exchange (terms defined by the school and the financial committee).
- Temporary absence (justified) of up to two months: for a justified absence of up to two months, the family will be charged 50% of the monthly tuition corresponding to the absent period.
- Additional specific cancellation/refund terms (for full contract cancellation or rematriculation rules) are managed under the school's enrollment and contractual rules; fees related to materials, Keystone, Kognity, external exams and third-party services are not covered by sibling or promotional discounts and are billed independently. Boarding / accommodation fees
- Boarding is not listed among the services and no boarding fees are published; Coree operates as a day school (no boarding fees applicable).
Payment methods and practical billing details
- Institutional billing uses the student portal and scheduled invoices (the school operates a student portal / TOTVS environment for families). Many additional items and programs show standard monthly due dates (the 10th of the month is commonly used for materials and exam parcels).
- The school and its institute accept bank transfers and PIX for payments in other contexts (example: the sports/Institute donation and sponsorship pages list bank account details and PIX keys), indicating bank transfer and PIX are accepted payment channels for institutional transactions. Specific tuition payment channels (boleto, bank transfer, PIX, card) are administered through the finance office and the student portal according to the contract.

Coree International School is an IB Continuum school in Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
