Robotics and Chess are offered as extracurricular activities. Robotics uses technology and experimentation to develop logic, programming and creation, providing exposure to engineering, mathematics and computing concepts in a practical, motivating way. Chess fosters logical thinking and problem-solving through inquiry-based activities, reinforcing analytical skills. Both programs support critical thinking and the development of technical and analytical abilities.
Theatre offers a space for acting and character creation through theatre games and playful experiences, supporting language development, autonomy, imagination and oral expression while stimulating cognition and creativity. Ballet and Dance engage students in movement, rhythm and expression, developing posture, coordination, and social interaction in a playful, welcoming environment. These artistic activities cultivate creativity and performance skills.
Coree runs a trilingual immersion program in English, with Spanish integrated into the curriculum from the 8th grade onward. The program leads to Brazilian and international diplomas.
Extracurriculars include Swimming, Theatre, Volleyball, Judo, Robotics, Futsal, Ballet, Chess, Futsal Advanced, Dance, Basketball, and Recreational Activities. Swimming is offered from age 4 with playful classes focused on adaptation and safety; from age 7, there are youth and adult sessions that emphasize technique across the four strokes, and a Performance Team is available for athletes who are evaluated and federated. The activities promote teamwork, coordination, creativity and physical fitness.
Projeto Social de Natação is a swimming social project that invites donations to support training for more children. Donations can be made to Instituto Core via bank transfer or PIX, with details including Raze3o social, CNPJ, Banco Santander, Agência, Conta Corrente, and PIX key complexoesportivo@coree.org.br; The donor should identify CPF/CNPJ and use the code 2 (donation) or 1 (sponsorship). The project started in 2021 with 13 athletes; in 2022 all athletes were federated; in 2023 athletes achieved important state and national results; in 2024 the team started with 43 athletes. The team participates in the official FASC calendar and athletes with indices may compete nationally; Sponsorship offers branding on social media, the site, uniforms and banners, and participation in events.
Coree Sports Center provides a modern sports complex with multiple modalities for extracurricular activities, including swimming from age 4, dancing, and team sports such as volleyball, futsal, basketball, and judo, plus recreational activities. The programs emphasize physical conditioning, teamwork, discipline and well-being in a supportive environment.
Coree International School is an IB Continuum school in Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Founded in 2009 by SOCIESC and governed since 2015 by Instituto Core, it serves Brazilian identity within a framework. The school offers the IB Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme, alongside American curriculum, with inquiry-based teaching approach. A trilingual immersion program delivers English and Portuguese from Early Years, with Spanish added from year 8, culminating in Brazilian and international diplomas, including Triple Diplomas: Brazilian High School, American High School and IB Diploma. LEED Gold campus features secure entry, 35 classrooms, arts and music spaces, a library, an infirmary, and a dining area served by Sodexo, plus Go Home system and facial-recognition security.
