Dual International School is a bilingual-by-immersion school with a Brazilian identity. The school develops a socio-constructivist pedagogy. The student is the subject of their learning, and the school helps them become a researcher. It is international and bilingual, embracing Brazilian identity and the cultures that make up the school community and opening to diverse global cultures. Instruction and communication between students and teachers occur in English and Portuguese, with Spanish added from the 6th year of elementary school. The curriculum is international and IB-recognized, and prepares students for ENEM, university entrance exams, English proficiency tests, and international programs such as SAT and IB.

Extracurricular activities broaden horizons and provide opportunities to deepen knowledge and challenge students. In Florianópolis and Blumenau, activities include coral, French, futsal, rhythmic gymnastics, jazz, robotics, street dance, violin, yoga, and more. These activities run from 16:00 to 18:00 and are optional. The school participates in competitions such as Richi Talent, Eureka Science Fair, Brazilian Astronomy Olympiad (OBA), Math Olympiad, Mangahigh Mathematical Challenge, and chess championships, and participates in the Onto the World international travel program.
Dual International School Blumenau is an IB World School offering bilingual immersion and full-day education for students aged 3 to 18. The school delivers a triple diploma—Brazilian, American and IB—preparing graduates for universities abroad. Located in Blumenau, it is part of the Bahema group and joined a network that began in Joinville in 2009 and expanded to Florianópolis in 2014 before Blumenau opened in 2016. The campus is the only IB World School serving Florianópolis and Blumenau. The curriculum combines IB programs (PYP and DP) with an English–Portuguese immersion approach and American curriculum elements, supported by a full-time schedule from early years through high school. After school, students may join a range of activities from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The school emphasizes participation in international programs such as Onto the World and competes in science, math, chess and athletic events, while guiding enrollment in ENEM, SAT and IB coursework successfully.
