From Year 6, the school offers various optional contents as part of the school routine, including monitorias, Debate, Olimpíadas do conhecimento, and classes to prepare for proficiency tests, as well as school bands.

Extracurricular Clubs run after class, between 12:00 and 14:00 and between 18:00 and 20:20, including ballet, jazz, futsal, judo, basketball, chess, robotics, musical theatre, musical education for young children, violin, guitar, and choir, as well as French and gastronomy.
Social Projects: community service is valued and led by students; many projects occur during the year; in High School, students must complete 50 hours of community service annually, aligned with career interests and the community.
Dual Certification in High School through a partnership with Rosedale Global High School, earning both the Brazilian diploma and the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). This program expands academic opportunities and strengthens autonomy, critical thinking, and a global perspective.

Escola Canadense de Brasília is an IB World School serving ages 2 to 18, delivering the IB Primary Years Programme through Grade 5 and the Middle Years Programme from Year 6 onward.
