Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school builds social-emotional skills, ethical awareness, and resilience through age-specific wellbeing programs. The Ethical Relationships Programme supports social-emotional growth, ethical awareness, and character development for Kids, Juniors, Teens, and High School learners. Wellbeing and inclusivity are integrated into daily life.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The school masters bilingualism and biliteracy in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Early Years offers a lively English-speaking setting guided by caring teachers. The IB Primary Years Programme, IB Middle Years Programme, and IB Diploma Programme are delivered on a bilingual journey. 185 Alphaville students earned Cambridge English certificates, with a 93% pass rate, supported by dual-language book clubs and the Teachers College Project.

Mental Wellbeing

Wellbeing programs are tailored to each age, nurturing mental wellbeing, social-emotional growth, ethical awareness, and character development. The Ethical Relationships Programme is a core component, supporting students' emotional health across Kids, Juniors, Teens, and High School.

Safeguarding

The safeguarding policy ensures students flourish in a safe and caring environment. Clear safety protocols and ongoing staff training ensure students know who to turn to for support. On-site medical support, a monitored campus with surveillance, evacuation drills, first-aid and lockdown training, a professional security team, and an on-site fire brigade maintain safety.
