Academic and Intellectual

Grades 10-12 are offered at the Federação and Pituba campuses in Salvador, Bahia. Land School provides both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) and the Brazilian Diploma, enabling a national or international-focused pathway. In the Brazilian Curriculum, BNCC core subjects are taught and English is taken at the IB Higher Level. In the International Pathway, Pre-IB prepares students for the Diploma Program, which includes six subjects (3 Higher Level and 3 Standard Level), the Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and CAS, with Portuguese taught at Higher Level and Physics, Chemistry, and Writing delivered in Portuguese.

Arts and Creative

Facilities include a film room and a music room on campus. The high school offers co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities in the arts, including performing arts and creative projects. The program supports student creativity through electives and projects across arts disciplines.

Cultural and Language

All High School students take the IB English course at the Higher Level, earning an international English credential. English is reinforced across pathways, and Portuguese is taught; IB Spanish is available as an option for the IB pathway. The program emphasizes language immersion and global perspectives through language courses and international curriculum.

Social and Hobbies

Extracurricular activities include elective courses in engineering, law, technology, and medicine. Students participate in Model United Nations, robotics, languages, martial arts, individual and team sports, performing arts, and essay writing. These activities expand interests and develop leadership and teamwork.

Community and Service

IB Diploma Program core includes Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service). CAS involves projects related to arts, athletics, and social responsibility under supervision. Students engage in community-oriented service and real-world projects as part of their IB experience.

Leadership and Professional

Personalized university counseling helps students explore career options, prepare for admission exams, and navigate the university application process. Counseling supports scholarships and admissions to Brazilian and international universities. The program guides applications to universities worldwide, including prestigious institutions in the USA. Co-curricular initiatives such as the Land Enterprise Challenge foster leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Federação campus features modern classrooms, specialized laboratories, and a maker space. Arts spaces include a film room and a music room, and sports facilities include an indoor court, a multi-sport court, a synthetic grass court, and a beach tennis court. These facilities support integrated sports, arts, and co-curricular activities to promote student well-being. A balanced program combines academic study with physical and creative pursuits.

Land School, part of Gurilândia Schools and Inspired Education Group, opened in 2019 in Salvador, Bahia, as an expansion of Gurilândia International School. It provides bilingual instruction in English and Portuguese and integrates the Brazilian national curriculum with international programs. The school delivers the International Baccalaureate from Primary Years through the Diploma Programme, the only IB continuum in the Northeast of Brazil. In high school, students may pursue only the Brazilian curriculum or continue with the IBDP, earning both diplomas and access to Brazilian and international universities. Land School operates two campuses in Salvador: Land Federação (about 6,000 m²) and Land Pituba (about 18,000 m²). Facilities include science laboratories, a cinema laboratory, a music room, a Maker Space, and a library. Pituba has 32 classrooms and advanced spaces. Extracurriculars include robotics, Model United Nations, a Student Film Festival, Olympiads, and Thematic Symposium, with global exchange through Inspired Global Summer Camps.
