Pan American School of Bahia (PASB) is an international day school for students aged 2 to 18. It offers three diplomas: the Brazilian Ensino Médio Diploma (MEC), the American High School Diploma, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB DP). The IB Primary Years Programme runs from Pre-K to Year 5, and the IB Diploma Programme is offered in Years 11–12. All classes are taught in English, with Brazilian History and Geography (Secondary), Spanish (Secondary), and Portuguese (ECC, Elementary and Secondary) taught in other languages. The curriculum blends American-style college-preparatory coursework with MEC requirements and the IB framework to prepare students for universities worldwide. PASB was founded in 1960 and now operates across campuses featuring an Early Childhood Center (2–6), Elementary (1–5), Middle (6–8), and High School (9–12). The school emphasizes digital fluency and a Maker Culture, with MakerSpaces and a multimedia library. The Community Hub houses an Auditorium, Black Box, a gym, a Music Room, two MakerSpaces, a Media Lab and an MPR. Panthers Sports includes football, futsal, volleyball, basketball, swimming, and cheerleading, part of AASB.
